Bishop’s Nympton parish had a population of 955 in the 2011 census. It is mainly encompassed by the Devon Character Area known as South Molton Farmland.
Bratton Fleming parish had a population of 1,069 in the 2011 census. A southwestern sliver dips into the Devon Character Area (DCA) called North Devon Downs but its bulk is part of the Exmoor Fringe DCA.
Brayford parish had a population of 413 in the 2011 census. It is fully part of the Exmoor Fringe DCA.
Challacombe parish had a population of 141 in the 2011 census. It is part of the Exmoor Fringe DCA and runs up onto Exmoor proper.
East & West Buckland parish had a population of 444 in the 2011 census. Its bulk is comprised of the Devon Character Area (DCA) called North Devon Downs . Its southern tongue laps the DCA called the Codden Hill and Wooded Estates whilst its eastern fringe tickles the edges of the Exmoor Fringe DCA.
East Anstey parish had a population of 231 in the 2011 census. To the north is the southern part of Exmoor and the Devon Character Area (DCA) known as Exmoor Fringe. Crossing a tiny spot of South Molton Farmland DCA, the southernmost part of the parish is part of the Witheridge and Rackenford Moor DCA.
Goodleigh parish had a population of 450 in the 2011 census. It is fully contained by the Devon Character Area called North Devon Downs .
Knowstone parish had a population of 226 in the 2011 census. The parish is fully enclosed within the Devon Character Area known as Witheridge and Rackenford Moor.
Landkey parish had a population of 1,955 in the 2011 census. It straddles the Devon Character Area (DCA) called North Devon Downs to the north and the DCA called the Codden Hill and Wooded Estates to the south.
Molland parish with Twitchen parish had a population of 255 in the 2011 census. To the north is the southern part of Exmoor and the Devon Character Area (DCA) known as Exmoor Fringe. Crossing a narrow slice of South Molton Farmland DCA, the southernmost part of the parish is part of the Witheridge and Rackenford Moor DCA.
North Molton parish had a population of 1094 in the 2011 census. This parish bites a big chunk out of Exmoor and the Devon Character Area known as Exmoor Fringe.
Stoke Rivers parish had a population of 153 in the 2011 census. Southern and western fringes are part of the Devon Character Area (DCA) called North Devon Downs but it mainly lies in the Exmoor Fringe DCA.
Twitchen parish with Molland parish had a population of 255 in the 2011 census. This parish straddles the southern part of Exmoor and the Devon Character Area known as Exmoor Fringe.
West Anstey parish had a population of 163 in the 2011 census. This parish predominantly straddles the southern part of Exmoor and the Devon Character Area known as Exmoor Fringe.
